old pictures which have become memes are my favourite genre of meme.
(and are the only ones you can have on your wall without it being cringe)

Always back up and archive your work. If they won’t host it anymore, maybe a torrent of it all may mysteriously appear on several popular torrent sites :)
Seems like over 5 billion people watched the Queen's funeral whilst it was happening, making it the most watched event in human history.
Because everyone watched it simultaneously it is also the first time a majority of the world's population had a single shared experience. 🌍

This is fantastic for Keir, will help him identify which MPs are cranks so he can add them to a purge list. Looking forward to seeing them deselected 👍👍
@BBCNews
Everyone should just ignore them for a week and then they'll go away. They're doing absolutely nothing to help Palestine and actually distracting from the real issues. Terrible protest.
The
#AbolishTheMonarchy
lot are insufferable. Royal events are all fun and the monarchy gives the country character and makes it interesting. 🇬🇧👑
Also worth remembering the only politician in Britain with enough popularity to win a presidential election is Nigel Farage 😉
@ShitpostGate
Real Gs use Windows XP or Windows 7. Nobody should ever need to upgrade beyond those for any reason. People who make modern software compatible with older operating systems are heros.
@caroseldel
@fesshole
I probably wouldn't really look at him much either, but it's harder for someone to tell where you're looking if you're not looking directly at them.
@ShitpostGate
For ages I thought these ads were just a just a UK thing. I think they were made in the UK but were part of an international awareness campaign about the issue?
@endermanch
I do kinda miss Hardware/Software limitations being a major thing because they used to cause some really innovative and creative workarounds. I also appreciate stuff which is optimized for efficiency.
People have become accustomed to ridiculous anti-alcohol rules and laws. But almost all of these laws have been brought in to counter antisocial behaviour not because of alcohol itself. In central Europe it's perfectly normal have a casual beer in public.

This a fantastic opportunity for Keir, will help him identify which MPs are cranks so he can add them to a purge list. Looking forward to seeing them deselected 👍👍
I'm very suspicious of campaigns like this which are targeted solely at one company for using suppliers which supply many big supermarkets. Why is Morrisons being singled out? Why is bad treatment of chickens only bad when Morrisons does it? who's funding

? 👀
Hey
@morrisons
, please can you ask your bosses to explain to us how turning a profit is more important than the health and welfare of living, feeling beings? 🤔

Fantastic policy! More action needs to be taken to increase the sentences perpetrators of animal abuse. The maximum sentence for causing unnecessary suffering to an animal needs to be increased to life imprisonment!
“Public control” is a meaningless phrase which means whatever Andy wants it to mean. The bus operators are still private & buses have always been regulated by local/national govts . I suspect the phrase was just chosen to make it sound like he’s nationalising them when he isn’t.
Today I will confirm the names of the operators who will run the first bus services in England to be brought back under public control since deregulation in 1986.
@endermanch
Some countries have a list of offensive words and require different actions to be taken to mark and filter them. I don't think the E is based on any of those.
Here's some incrediblely detailed research from OFCOM (UK's version of the FCC) about how offensive different words are
Can the people who use “colonialism” to justify being disrespectful about the death of the Queen explain why all of the countries which became independent from the UK are flying their flags at half mast and all national public figures are posing respectful messages of condolence?
@JustStop_Oil
Since JSO started these daft stunts I've seen more people praising the oil and gas industry and recognising it's economic benefits than ever! well done JSO!
@AndyBurnhamGM
@BeeNetwork
Everywhere I've been in England has the £2 buses, and idk why you keep saying "public control" like that actually means anything.
Those paid extended support updates for Windows 7 ended today too. I suspect they'll be a bigger target than the random people who have (possibly never) updated their windows 8.1 computer. 👀
The people who are tweeting
#BringBackTescoStaff
because they can't handle self service checkouts are exact same people who shout abuse at shop staff.
They're the reason that an "abuse will not be tolerated" sign has to be up by every till in the UK.
Keir Starmer and David Lammy using the Berlin holocaust memorial as a backdrop for a totally unrelated party political video shoot is disgraceful, shows an absolute lack of awareness or any respect for the significance of the memorial.

change Wales? hasn't Welsh Labour ran Wales for decades? they seem to be the source of a lot of the decline? makes no sense!
I think Farage and Rayner are dominating the debate tonight, not a shock to see everyone else in the middle of this chart because everyone else is boring AF

"You lack Jewish learning" (wtf?)
There's a hundred legitimate things to criticise Zack for, but this isn't one of them. please cease. please stop. nope. no.
Faiza Shaheen's campaign always seemed weirdly personal & based on her own ego.
The fact she's turned on her own party (and gone straight to the press) as soon as there is suggestion she won't be an MP shows a lot about her character 🙃
deselection was the right choice 👍
“Honestly I’m so shocked right now, to be treated this badly”
Faiza Shaheen, who was set to stand for Labour, describes hearing that her candidacy had been pulled over liking a series of Tweets which she claims Labour said would frustrate its campaign

Absolutely ridiculous. The public service broadcasting component of the BBC should be funded from general taxation. The government sets the licence fee already, the weird idea that it creates some form of independence from the government is nonsense.
Lots of the most annoying Eurovision viewers seem to be boycotting because Israel is participating. Israel should participate in more things to help keep the most annoying people away 👍👍
Telling people to vote for you "tactically" is just admitting they wouldn't vote for you otherwise. 😂😂

in Bristol Central, make the Greens lose badly! 🌹

I’m yet to meet anyone who’s actually a follower of a non-Christian religion complain about people saying Christmas. Its usually atheist secularists or people of a non-Christian background who are not themselves religious, so they’re effectively imposing their religion themselves
