I hate to say I relate.
I was scared of ppl with Autism bc my sister would meltdown very loudly, which in turn made my OWN Autism trigger.
My mum never explained to me what autism was, and just say "she's Autistic" as if I knew what that was at 7.

Though when he is called a "he/him", he doesn't correct, making me assume he's Genderfluid.
