Truly an honor to be chosen as the chief fellow for the upcoming year. Excited to serve the best group of colleagues I could have ever asked for at
@WMCCardsFellows
and to do it alongside
@DRBAHLER
!
Pleased to announce our new chief fellow
@TanyaSh112
and associate chief fellow

As trainees, nothing is more motivating than being seen & supported. Thank you

for new well-fitting leads to meet the needs of an ever-growing group of

The investment goes a long way. The culture of our lab played a huge role in getting me interested in interventional cardiology, as it probably did for
@SwatiChand_
and my other women co-fellows planning to go into cath. Throwback to this excited picture from last year!
@arghavan_salles
Meanwhile we bought specific lead fitted for women in our Cath lab. It’s called thinking about how to make everyone successful and comfortable so their true talents can shine! We should all want that.

Had a great time presenting at the SCAI First NY fellows’ conference. Thank you
@SCAI
for the opportunity to share how we managed a rare yet catastrophic complication of late presenting STEMI and hear from some of the top experts in the field!
Beyond excited to match at WMC, NY for fellowship in Cardiology. So grateful for the opportunity to pursue my long-time dream. Wouldn’t have been possible without the support of my parents, mentors at
@UAMS_Cardio
@UAMSintmedicine
and friends who constantly rooted for me!🫀
Had a great time running this hands on session on cath lab equipment and basics for the new
@WMCCardsFellows
. Thank you
@SrihariNaiduMD
for overseeing it and for making this a yearly tradition. It is always a hit!
Incredibly excited for my first in-person ACC presentation. Can’t wait to experience practice-changing science and discussions which shape our field, first-hand at

Celebrating the most challenging year of my training yet. Grateful for the opportunity to live my dream, doing what I love to do and learning from the best! Excited to welcome a new class to the family and kickstart the new academic year!
I went through all of medical school and part of residency without realizing how many of the women in my life (including my mom!) were at risk for
#CVD
without a single “traditional” risk factor. Women’s heart health is unique and important. Knowledge is power.
#WearRedDay
A great start to day 2 of
@CRT_meeting
with an excellent discussion on hemodynamics and management of cardiogenic shock by a panel of IC-HF-CCC luminaries.
+ Always great to see
@SrihariNaiduMD
representing WMC Cardiology, talking about individualization of CS care!
Found these ECGs I had saved from intern year. Very few things come close to the rush and satisfaction of finding and helping fix a catastrophe in the middle of the night. And I get to do this for the rest of my life?! 🎊🫀
Excited to be a part of this year’s

Our review in Kidney360 on the use of LAAO devices in ESRD. The literature makes compelling arguments for safety despite limited evidence in this especially challenging group.
Anticoagulation to reduce thromboembolic stroke risk due to nonvalvular AF in ESRD is linked with increased bleeding. This Review discusses alternatives to oral anticoagulation in preventing thromboembolic events in patients with AF and CKD
Can’t believe it has already been a year since I found out I was headed to WMC. Congratulations, incoming fellows! We are very excited to get to know you!
We couldn’t be more excited to welcome this amazing group of physicians to the WMC Cardiology Fellowship Program!
Congrats to the newly matched class – the future of cardiovascular medicine is looking bright! 🫀

Great advice! Showing up with a good attitude & willingness to help wins half the battle. It earns the trust of your peers, attendings, and consulting services.
You wouldn’t know everything on day 1 or even 365, that’s why it’s a 3 yr training!
