With how many players are picking up Lorcana as their first TCG it's been interesting watching a lot of "old" discourse/discussions get rehashed. Although I'm glad the "Let it Go your ward character" and "IDs bring shame to your family" conversations passed quick enough.

Start of June, I was at ~45 followers. A couple weeks after Chicago, it was double. Now I just passed 150. Yall are amazing! I think a giveaway to celebrate (and keep the number going up 😉) is in order. Didn't have anything planned, so I'll have to decide, but keep an eye out!

Top 4 finish after running 15 min late, and having to buy a common I lost. Played the same list from Chicago, and it felt exactly fine. Lost to some rough draws out of and against Emerald Steel. 1/1 on Ursulas, so we'll see how many more I can make it to.

My biggest advice to people taking lorcana seriously is to try to imagine what a book of chess openings but for the deck you're currently playing would look like if it existed. Think about what common openings would be, common responses, common responses your deck has to others

secured. Top 4 had a bye and I was not lucky enough to snag it. Died game 3 on the play to aggro with some really unfortunate draws. Had a few decisions I could have made differently, but the top of my deck was not bailing me out either way. Oh well 🤷🏻♂️

Knocked out in top 8, so no ursula, but got 10 packs of first chapter for my trouble. Still on roughly the same list. Feels like there's much less Emerald Steel locally now. Debating if I want to make tweaks or swap. Probably time to shave or cut GSD until the mirror is back
