I'm high on Scuttle item shells and this one is completely cracked as well. Maurice's Workshop with 8 1d cantrip items can offer some real grind vs control match ups, something that was lacking in set 3. There is hope for BS!

As much as I totally admire the game design behind Lorcana, Flynn into rare Sisu is bad game design, unfortunately. It makes so that you get heavily punished for being on the draw because your Sisu gets to be always worse than theirs.

Set 4 meta keeps evolving. Ruby Sapphire took a big hit from the uptick of Ruby Amethyst. But things might be more nuanced than people think when looking at these numbers. There is ways for ES, SS and RS to tech more heavily for RA and this is where we are headed.

A few thoughts about DLC Chicago: 3 of my students made top64. RB was recognized as the deck to beat coming into the event, so people showed up with RP and GP, barely respecting the power of GS, which again led to a second GS win back to back weekend. Time to boil that down! 💪

I'm fine if Set champs prizes become a bit more accessible to the mass and DLCs are the real circuit for competitive players. I will say, though, don't expect the promos the be worth as much as they've been. I suspect they will tank drastically (under $100).

Ruby Sapphire finishing set 4 meta strong with the best conversion rate of DLC Bologna 🔥 Congrats on all top64 competitors!
And now for the conversion rates. We see that both Sapphire decks, Sa/St and Ru/Sa overperformed in Bologna while the Amethyst decks, name Ae/Ru and Ae/St underperformed. Ru/Sa is definitely the story of the weekend as nearly 7% of players who played Ru/Sa made it to day 2 and

The deck revolves around The Muses + 6d Lady Tremaine to lock your opponent out by singing a song and getting back the Tremaine each turn. The win con is the Gramma Tala with the help of Mama Odie. The rest just fuels it.

Pretty close from what we anticipated. People were scared of playing RP, so I knew there was a good chance it wouldn’t up its count from previous DLCs. We also predicted there would be a bunch of unknowns, and let me tell you, there was a ton of random decks.
