Omgggg this guy. Sir, if you see this post even though we’re not mutuals, why do you spend even a second of your time engaging within our spaceflight/rocketry community? A genuine question. Not trying to get blocked. Just wondering.
A HUGE shoutout to
@geococcyxcal
for taking me to see the amazing burrowing owls! Thank you, Wendy for your time, knowledge, and just the whole experience! This trip was so very special and I will never forget those adorable babies!
K wait. Ignore all my commentary v in the videos I’m about to post. I thought I was witnessing an unannounced Falcon. Evidently I caught Firefly? Does anybody know?
Younger son quit his job on the spot. He called off work on a day he had a migraine as he suffers from them immensely. They told him they were charging him $500 for not coming in on an unannounced-to-him training day. He said you charge me/I quit. Everyone stood their ground. 😮
A HUGE SHOUT OUT to my friend Wendy
@geococcyxcal
, for being so kind to spend her time taking me to see these babies, which is such a very special experience! Thank you so much Wendy!
For 1 week, I'm doing a run of limited-edition, autographed 17x22" (43x56cm) prints on Ultra Premium Luster paper of Ascension: my best photo of today's historic Boeing Starliner Crew Flight Test🚀

To those who regularly engage with me, I’m so impressed by how insanely smart each of you are. I’m very honored you embrace me as part of our space talks and rockets world. I’m very lucky to be virtually surrounded by such amazing, intelligent and inspiring people! Thank you!
OMMMGGGGG YOU GUYS!
When you’re doing the NGLs or just engaging in general, DO NOT FORGET MANY OF OUR MUTUALS ARE MINORS. Geezus fuck what is wrong with some of you??
Happy Mom’s Day to everyone who is a mom to someone or something, animals/creatures included, & those who positively impact another’s life, no DNA connection required! My younger son does not like me to post his picture so I erased his face! 🤣🤣🤣 This was a few years back 🥰

Another dedicated launch for our mission partners
@synspective
. This is the 5th of 16 launches booked on Electron for the Japanese Earth-observation company to build out their constellation.
Keep your eyes peeled for the launch
Has anyone looked up, knowing darn well it’s a cloud, but yet still stares intently to ensure it’s not an aurora? That’s me. Has anyone in Southern California seen it yet?
My hours have been cut & opportunity to cover for extra hrs has been eliminated. I now know I’m disposable I as always was. I’m pissed. This change has completely altered my livelihood. I’m a professional so of course I won’t let my disappointment show. 👎🤬👎
“Thank you so much for taking my question! My friend SpaceGeekSheri wants to know where I can find all the Starliner shirts and gear because she’s pestering me about it”.
Our

team successfully completed its final Mission Dress Rehearsal before the Crew Flight Test launches Monday, May 6, 10:34 p.m. ET.

Seeing anything through the infrared eyes of JWST is a delight, and Saturn is no exception!! Its rings always glow bright 🪐 The dots to the left are its moons: Dione (top), Enceladus (mid), Tethys (bottom). Enceladus harbors water beneath its ice crust, and thus, may host life.

Have any of you ever noticed someone you thought was a cool mutual space tweep unfollowed you? I recently noticed that so guess what. Their ass gets unfollowed right back.
I saw a disappointing email today from a respected Space Expert. To those leaving Twitter claiming there’s nothing but toxic people here, I’d like to remind all of us that we’re good people who love space&have lots of excellent ideas & I love sharing and engaging with you all.
"Mars is much closer to the characteristics of Earth. It has a fall, winter, summer, and spring. North Pole, South Pole, mountains, lots of ice. No one is going to live on Venus; no one is going to live on Jupiter." - Buzz Aldrin
I received my insane shirt from Kevin‘s store
@DKiSAerospace
! I am in love with it, and I cannot wait to go outside to rep! Thank youuuu Kevin for letting me custom it up!
Feeling grateful for the Space fans out there. Besides my grown sons, you’re all I’ve got to talk space with & get all hysterical w/during these great moments in history. IRL no one I work with etc even cares about space. It’s a very odd feeling so thank you all for being there!

in 2015 I took this photo of

astronaut Michael Collins when we were in line for food at MIT during the 100th Anniversary Celebration of the Aero Astro school.

Reminder of the time they decided to fire up the RS-25 and see how long it would take for her to fail.
33 minutes passed.
They ran out of LOX.
Goodnight fam
If you have a popular acct & don’t want it negatively impacted by “low quality accounts” it’s kind of mean if you consider me a low quality account. I love space, rocketry, missions, exploring the universe just like the next person. Not sure why I would be considered low-quality?
Did a following cleanse of some who don’t bother engaging/following back. I even do this for big accounts sometimes. Not everyone/just some. I do this once in a while.
@NASAJPL
We need more space related emojis! Rovers, satellites, orbiters, launchpads, rockets, spacecrafts, landers, exoplanets, moons, boosters, everything!
Guess who remembered sunscreen today! I’m one of those dorks who sometimes doesn’t smile for selfies! Heading to the HB air show for maybe some tacos and a cool beverage too!
👍😃👍 Peace out, Girl Scouts! 😈
Ich liebe Raumfahrtunternehmen, die hochauflösende Fotos ihrer Arbeit öffentlich und für jeden zugänglich zur Verfügung stellen 👀
@ulalaunch
ist hier mit einem hochaktuellen Flickr - Account ein leuchtendes Beispiel 👍
Sucht Ihr da auch immer nach fehlenden Schrauben? 😄
With everything I’ve learned this morning, I thank all of my followers, including those who pay for the site. I have full respect for each of you whether you pay or not, and I find all of you inspiring and fun to engage with. Thank you so much for giving me a chance! 👍😃👍🚀✨
Just, wow. Stunned wow. We’re all so lucky Andrew shares his creativity and captures.
@AJamesMcCarthy
, your work…I’m just lost for words. This is one of the best posts I have ever seen.
I used a modified telescope to capture high-speed video of the eclipse at a long focal length. Seeing the lumpy mountains of the moon against a backdrop of churning plasma is incredibly surreal.
(I hope you weren't sick of eclipse posts 😜)
The Euclid is a telescope that's so important that we sent it to Lagrange Point 2, a million miles away from Earth (it's also where the JWST is). It is set to create a 3D map of the Universe as far back into its history as 10 billion years ago. It aims to tell us about dark
Flame trench
Are you guys opposed? I’m thinking after watching the last ship lift off and how quickly it got air, why bother with a trench because it seems the heat is not presenting a problem, considering the last one sep’d and made it to orbit. Too soon to tell still?
