Younger son quit his job on the spot. He called off work on a day he had a migraine as he suffers from them immensely. They told him they were charging him $500 for not coming in on an unannounced-to-him training day. He said you charge me/I quit. Everyone stood their ground. 😮

Seeing anything through the infrared eyes of JWST is a delight, and Saturn is no exception!! Its rings always glow bright 🪐 The dots to the left are its moons: Dione (top), Enceladus (mid), Tethys (bottom). Enceladus harbors water beneath its ice crust, and thus, may host life.

I used a modified telescope to capture high-speed video of the eclipse at a long focal length. Seeing the lumpy mountains of the moon against a backdrop of churning plasma is incredibly surreal.
(I hope you weren't sick of eclipse posts 😜)
