@EngineerDustin @ajlamesa It looks like the corner curb is rounded, not squared off into the intersection. This allows cars to maintain speed while turning and is a design flaw that makes the intersection much more dangerous for pedestrians. @StrongTowns covers this.

A problem from my 12yo’s math. We are firmly past what 99% of adults ever need to know and clearly into abstract reasoning development. Most people should stop math education in middle school. They know enough and further math instruction is a waste of time and frustrating.

Many parents wish they’d had the marginal child. If you are on the fence, choose life. For more in depth discussion, @bryan_caplan ‘s “selfish Reasons to have more kids”

@CharlieFleming_ PS - have a 3rd child if it’s not too late. Now that my kids are older, we wished we had another. It was soooo hard when they were young and close in age, we couldn’t fathom a third, but now wish we did and regret the decision. (I go out of my way to tell people this as a result)

@Amer1can_Barbie When he has armpit hair start him on this program: I’ve taken lots of people through it. Best program for beginners. Will need to supplement with additional direct arm work. Trainer is only needed to make sure he does the program and doesn’t change it.

@politicalmath @ProfEmilyOster Given her class and position. But you forgive and move on when appropriate boundaries are in place. You don’t forgive and move on when the abuser is in the house and has expressed no contrition, remorse, or repentance. Build boundaries, limit the ability of these fascists

@politicalmath My favorite part of the Biden presidency is when POTUS makes public remarks that are clearly narrations of private dem convos that were never meant for public consumption.

@CBedfordDC “Do you think poor people should be killed if your minimum standard of living cannot be met?” “Do poor people deserve to live?” “What is the minimum parental income level below which you believe children should be dismembered and sold for parts, Dana?” This isn’t hard.

@1000yearhouse You’ve lost the plot here, 1000. Don’t let Trump derangement syndrome show. All people have to do is compare 3 years (pre Covid) DJT to 4 years Biden. I can’t believe I have to explain this to you. Also, just so you know, after Covid, and now Biden’s mental incapacity,

@politicalmath @ProfEmilyOster There has been no accountability. No one lost their jobs. Some pols may be voted out Nov 8th, but they will most likely leave bureaucrats in place. There are no restraining boundaries that will prevent this from happening again. Emily has been as good as could be expected

You can still give your kids a lot of this. Not all of it. But a lot. We are into Summer. Sprinklers, fireflys, tramping around the woods.
