This is funny because I spent my entire childhood watching my 6’1 former Marine officer dad sit in the corner of family parties scanning the room for chores he could help with or colicky babies he could stand and dance with so their mom could have some fun.
@emilykmay Men are reactive, women are proactive. Men show helpfulness and thoughtfulness differently than women do. If you want someone who demonstrates these traits the same way you do, you're setting yourself up for disappointment.
