, I have struggled to adequately capture the bizarre but very widespread browning on the windward side of coastal CT’s trees from the airborne salt on August 4. Today I was able to get some shots that do it a bit of justice. (1/3)

On my ride home (Metro-North) today I noticed widespread ‘browning’ on the south-facing and southeast-facing trees along the New Haven Line, which I believe was caused by saltwater spray from Isaias last week. I’ll try and get some photos this weekend.

Here’s a look at the radar confirmed tornadoes in the Providence, RI - Dighton, MA corridor from last night.
The northern tornado may have lasted a bit longer, and the (northern) couplet first became obvious a couple of frames earlier almost right over downtown Providence.
