For the first time in the history of the NHS, the Welsh doctors will strike.
It's becoming more and more obvious that continuing as we are isn't going to cut it.
Something must be done to address the rampant pay erosion that's causing doctors to leave.
Today, doctors in Wales will go on strike over pay for the first time ever. Over the last 15 years, our pay has been cut by 29.6% in real-terms.

Not at all. No-one attending those ARMs would want TCS to decline. Good intentions don’t always produce the outcomes members would choose. Those reps would have wanted exactly the outcomes you’d choose - it’s unfair to suggest they are somehow malign bcos they couldn’t deliver.

An F2's pay is only higher due to out of hours work. Base pay is the only fair comparison. Otherwise you're comparing a 55hr week with night shifts to a 37.5hr week all in hours.
Comparing base pay, F2's are still around £10,000 down despite more clinical responsibility.
