@PaulAnd52959567 @AdamLasch1 There are 3 types of soil disturbances that cause soil dysfunctions. Physical … 2much tillage Chemical … 2much nutrition on our soils that disrupt C/N ratios Biological … anything soil biology doesn’t recognize and has to spend 2much of their energy processing

@PaulRic56123559 @simonmaechling Many times the things we do to our soils cause components of our biological communities to go dormant, or at a minimum, not function as they were intended to function.

@PaulRic56123559 @simonmaechling Go ahead and test your garden soils for biological balances, you’ll find they are perhaps some of the most ‘out of balance’ soils when it comes to life within the ecosystem below ground. Yet they produce with love applied

@PaulRic56123559 @simonmaechling Functional Soils are described as ‘more carbon entering the Soils than leaving’ The processes of growing potato’s w/o all of the soil destruction has been proven, however the machinery is not in place. So let’s continue as usual Perhaps research should be focused on this aspect

@PetersenFarms The “C” in the C02 is the wrong “C” to be capturing. The “C” from the ethanol plants comes from “C4” plants and should be returned back to our atmosphere to help other plant growths, rather than piped and pumped into a “C12” hole

@KnifeRandal @mopaksus @CBKimbrell When a seed is taken out of it’s environment for one or more generations it looses its natural epigenetics. Causing the dependance upon more ‘stuff’ to be put on the seed that would be inherent to if just proliferated in it’s own environment

@DHellandback @MattHintz3 @FarmrHuntr It always boils down to “Relationships”. This is what is lacking in today’s society. We teach our kids how to be profitable, how to win, how to excel. We rarely teach our kids humility, how to care or more importantly … why we should care. We don’t teach contentment

@Bkitch1Bodie @Garretgraham007 @deutmeyer_troy It’s a chicken/egg thing. When all you study is chemistry, one looks through the lens of chemistry (very easy to quantify). However looking holistically, one recognizes the importantance of life to move nutrients (very difficult to quantify). Man always takes the easy pathway
