For all practical intents, when you talk about Brazilian agriculture, you’re talking about China. China is using Brazil to break the American cotton, beef, soy, and grain industries. We cannot export our way out of this problem, because they’ll just burn down more rain forest
China is pumping fortunes into Brazil’s roads, rails & ports to move grain cheaper and faster. That means more Brazilian grain on the world market and more pressure on our prices. For us, it’s a reminder, your competition isn’t in your backyard, it’s global.
