Real story, a good friend of my mom's who was a staunch Trump supporter refused to get vaccinated. According to the nurses one if the last things she said before dying from COVID was "maybe I should have gotten vaccinated." Unnecessary tragedy. Very sad.

I have been there. I had to quit my job when my son was 2 weeks old, he was very sick and needed constant care. As he grew up other issues became apparent keeping me from returning to work. I left my abusive husband when my son was 4. I went on food stamps for 3 months. 1/2

I too choose the bear. I've experienced violence from more than one man that I thought I could trust. I've been told (by women) not to press charges because no one would believe me and to comfort a man that attacked me because he was suicidal. Bears are safer.

Some of these children are extremely verbal, like my son who had delayed speech. Others are completely non-verbal. Plenty fall somewhere in between. It's called a spectrum disorder for a reason, each child is different. Social anxiety has little to do with it.
