Cops arrest people for looking suspicious. Often, that means not being white but being in a white neighborhood. They could be the lawn guy, or picking up/dropping off a house cleaner, and be arrested “on suspicion” - then die without a trial cuz they can’t post bail.

Aren’t most polls done by phone? Younger generations block spam calls and unknown numbers. Older (ie conservative) people are more likely to answer, and then be polled. That might not be all of it, but it’s at least part of it.

Then make being a parent easier and more affordable. Walkable cities are safer for kids, and easier for the parents. Affordable housing so you don’t need six roommates to survive. Affordable healthcare so childbirth isn’t $30k. Affordable childcare so it isn’t $1200/mo.
