@Heather_in_WI It doesn’t make it easier, physically. It just makes me more content in doing it, and motivated to do it well instead of resentful and angry about it. “It’s my pleasure to do it.” And THAT makes it easier mentally. We all know mom’s attitude affects the atmosphere in the home.

@Lessfriede22248 @TrueTexasTea @DavidCookTexas It’s not rocket science. If your public school education didn’t do well enough that you can teach a child, that’s saying something. We read, we re-learn algebra from a textbook w/teacher’s manual. It’s not that hard. And we can use tutors or videos for things we don’t understand.

@Lessfriede22248 @TrueTexasTea @DavidCookTexas You demonstrate a fundamental distrust of parents to know what’s best for their children. Shame on you.

@OldHollowTree I use them often as well. Hmm…don’t know if you can get me to stop though. Same as how I won’t stop putting two spaces after periods!

@gis_vii @RRR0BYN @snaggles2019520 Pain is temporary, and useful. It serves a purpose. The desire to forego all pain and suffering leads to so many other problems. Look up “Cascade of intervention” to see all the side effects of trying to avoid pain at all cost during childbirth. It harms mothers and babies.

@RRR0BYN 7 kids, 5 born out of the hospital; one unassisted on the front porch of the birthing center because we beat the midwife, and the other four at home, two more who were unassisted because I went so fast the midwife didn’t make it in time. Totally worth it, and I’d do it again.

@withstgeorge @Megamom1985 I would add DiLorenzo’s follow-up book, “Lincoln Unmasked.” It’s a deeper dive and very good. Also, Shelby Foote’s “The Civil War” trilogy. And articles or other resources you can find on @AbbevilleInst website. Use the bibliographies in DiLorenzo’s books also.

@WatchChad I had never heard of him until I heard there was controversy about him headlining the Super Bowl. Even still, I couldn’t tell you anything about him except that he sang (if you can call it that) at the Super Bowl. I thought it was awful and I couldn’t understand a word he said.

@Hollie_Plemons @KeresaForTexas Thank you for clarifying that. I used the wrong word. Yes, we want to keep our money in our pockets and not beg for it back with strings attached.

@mearmstrong77 @lynnsdavenport @AngelaBlac8824 @oldbatrn Homeschools most certainly ARE categorized as private schools in Texas. The Leeper decision established this.

@Homeschool_LLC Oh yes. The globalist agenda is real. Abbott is in WEF. Corey DeAngelis is part of UNESCO. Are we really this stupid?

The money isn’t following the child though. This isn’t what we voted for. SB2 is a completely different program. Bait and switch.
Texans are overwhelmingly in favor of parental choice in education. From our 2022 Ballot Proposition, which passed in Collin County by 85%: "Texas parents and guardians should have the right to select schools, whether public or private, for their children, and the funding should follow the student."
