My friend June runs an animal rescue in Cyprus. She's just had major surgery to her cervical spine after searching for nearly a year to find three paid helpers to care for her animals while she recovers. One has left her in the lunch, putting pressure on the others. /1
Urgent appeal. June of desperately needs PAID volunteers to look after her rescue cats and dogs so she can have and recover from surgery that is needed now to prevent paralysis. (Cervical spine.)

When a dog's eyes are rolling back in its head and there's possible prosecution of the owners, there's not "lots of time". Internal damage to organs can be done very quickly. Dogs shouldn't be left to suffer for a moment longer than necessary due to owner cruelty and negligence.

My school today issues guidance for gender questioning students. I was pleased to see that we were told in no uncertain terms (bold and highlighted!) that no student should be using a toilet for the opposite biological sex for safeguarding reasons.

Lies. All studies show that 80+% of kids with gender dysphoria will outgrow this during or by the end of puberty - almost like it's a necessary process. There are reputable also longitudinal studies showing that most "gender non-conforming" kids grow up gay.
