Please show your source for that claim about homeschooling. Teachers require a lot of training to get where they are in whatever field they're involved in. Homeschooling parents have much less training. That claim makes no sense.

Care doesn't outrank skill. I do agree that teachers should learn how to handle children as well as their actual field, but that's a different discussion. Teachers are well-trained. Homeschooling parents are not. Not a comparison.
