We have space in the July 2024 issue of Public Law for short analysis pieces. These may, for example, discuss recent developments, identify noteworthy trends, float or discuss new concepts or ideas, or simply deal with issues that don’t require a full-length article.

What would we like to see more of? There is so much going on that doesn’t attract many submissions. More on statutory and other non-judicial developments in public law; more comparative material; coverage of a wider range of jurisdictions.

Our *publication* decisions are driven purely by merit. But we think such a dramatic underrepresentation of women in submissions to the journal indicates a problem, and constrains our ability to publish the most interesting work in the field.
