@seatradelaw @DaniellaLock Our *publication* decisions are driven purely by merit. But we think such a dramatic underrepresentation of women in submissions to the journal indicates a problem, and constrains our ability to publish the most interesting work in the field.

We pride ourselves on quick turnarounds. We aim for an initial desk review within two weeks of submission and a final decision within six weeks of sending out for review, but timelines are often much quicker than that.
