Another Scottish fact for the day. An iScot cannot rejoin the EU. Why? They were never members originally to be able to rejoin. The UK was. They'd have to start from scratch, agree to the € as its new currency, and sort out its debt ratio before they're even considered.

@domjoly I lived in his constituency, and he was my MP for many years, and he was very good at it and much respected by all people across the divide. He always made himself accessible to constituency surgeries and local functions and was happy to debate everyone, even when people were.

We had to sail through what was called the roaring forties, as the wind rarely dropped below 40mph, and we hit a storm to boot. I wasn't on a cruise ship, but it was flat bottomed, so the worst.
