Sometimes I hate the multiverse and find it exhausting
Then I look at this and love it and see all the potential it has
Then I see what it's being used for currently and hate it again
It's Tony
Civil War messed up a lot between them but Thor has always been closest to Tony than any Avenger (if we exclude Wanda and Spider-Man for a moment)
Anyway what makes the Fantastic Four and their stories fundamentally different from the Avengers and *their* stories is that the Avengers are a rotating roster of coworkers. The FF are a FAMILY and yes that includes their main villain/archenemy, as strange as it may seem.
Thor fans saying he's on Superman's level in terms of power and symbolism is wild no Thor is not the embodiment of hope, he doesn't represent determination he doesn't come close to Superman but man I wish I had that level of delusion
Robert Downey Jr explains how Kevin Feige asked him about playing Doctor Doom.
“[Feige said] how can we not go backwards, how do we not disappoint expectations, how we can continue to beat expectations… Let’s get Victor Von Doom right”
