Read something yesterday to the effect of women adjusted to their freedoms by thriving and taking the opportunity to participate in the working world. Men, on the other hand, did nothing to explore the world of domesticity and emotional labor then got mad women wouldn't do both
Women went from not being able to have credit cards or mortgages to being expected to pay half the household bills while pregnant and raising children within a single generation which is incredible when you think about it.
