Theatrical release indeed
Amanda Waller takes on Homelander. So much to process. Anthony Anderson as the First Gentleman is already making it interesting. Soldier backstory on the poster...okay. Yes the 'Elevator" pitch of "Die Hard" meets "Olympus Has Fallen" is one thing, but Viola has the looks, gravitas, brawn, and acting chops to make this MUST SEE on the 10th (as well as taking a page from the Denzel Washington serious actor action star playbook.) This isn't a FILM...it's a FLICK, and looks like a fun one. I can't wait to see it. They really should have released this theatrically....they're leaving money on the ground. It would have opened No. 1.
