I had a male therapist a while back who sent his notes of our session to my doctor. I read them and I was horrified. It's like this man wasn't even listening to me because nearly everything he'd written was wrong or misinterpreted. First and last time I trust a man to take notes.

I'm so happy to see this. I have struggled all my life with my mental health and was diagnosed with GAD and MDD multiple times. They also suggested bipolar and cluster b. Come to find out, as with many late Dx women, it turns out I'm Audhd. The overlapping Sxs are maddening.

I'm a recovering alcoholic and when I first discovered being buzzed/drunk, it was a magical elixir to my audhd brain. Less anxious, more social, happier all around. It is absolutely intoxicating to experience a brain that isn't constantly fighting you and drugs help that.

Kids sign on for loans because their parents can't afford it, they missed out on scholarships, and not everyone has the capacity to work a job AND go to school at the same time. Then interest hits, the degree doesn't always work out, and life happens. No empathy, huh?
