As soon as I saw those headlines that Covid was hitting Black and other communities of color harder, I knew many of my demographic would demand that there be no mitigation measures. Can we ever become moral people?
This is the key takeaway for me. White conservatives were told that COVID disproportionately harmed communities of color, & responded by rejecting mitigation measures & demanding a "return to normal," causing the death rate of white Americans to soar relative to other groups.
