Just found this photo of LillUlla and her first litter of kittens. Only 9 months old she ran away and came home 19 days later, pregnant of course. It was a rough birth, but she did so good and did everything right with the kittens.🐈⬛
I had my first child when I was 20. I was told that pregnancy and giving birth is just beautiful, that giving birth doesn't have to be painful, that it's just hard work.
Imagine my surprise.
48 hours of "hard work", unbearable pain for hours and hours. No pain relief.

Birth is an intimate experience. You're violating your own and your kids privacy for attention points, and scaring other women, some of whom may be emotionally vulnerable.
Sewed back up under general anesthesia. It took them over an hour.
Maybe, just maybe someone should have told me that childbirth is very painful. Just that. Don't you think?
⬇
Also, this isn't unusual. Most women tear more or less. I just happened to tear "the most". Couldn't sit for almost a month. Going to the bathroom made me want to die.
I refused it because I was told that "natural is best". I thought I was just bad at giving birth.
Topping the experience with 2 people laying on me to push out the baby who was crashing. Ripped open all the way through (total perineal rupture).

Reminder: Feminism is just about having the right to choose your own path in life.
Whether it's a career or being a stay at home mom/homemaker... it's about having the freedom to make your own choices.
Feminism isn't about hating men and having way too many cats, just choice.
@MitziMasha
I get that some women thinks it's a piece of cake, but that's rare. I envy them. However, we have for long had a "birthing-culture" that celebrates women who can pop out their babies at home and cook dinner for the family 2 hours after.
We should have reasonable expectations.
@SenSanders
Sweden's is better than that.
Women are entitled to 10 weeks’ full-rate maternity leave followed by 480 days’ parental leave, 90 days of which is ringfenced for each parent. Each parent also has the right to shorten their work hours by up to 25% until the child turns eight.
@im_anneliese
If you're doing it as a sort of roleplay thing I can understand it, even though it's not my thing. If you're just always calling him sir it's weird, creepy.
Your husband isn't your father, granddad or the president, right? He isn't above or more than you. You're equal in value.
Why do so many Christians say that God doesn't care about social justice? They say that "Jesus came to save souls, not to bring social justice".
BUT HE DID bring the message of social justice in both words and actions.
Scripture clearly states...

@jessi_witer
I'm not saying there shouldn't be any pain. I'm saying we should be told there will be pain and that if it's too much we shouldn't feel bad for going for pain relief.
Yes, we must try to inform away that "good girl" and "natural is best" slogans. It's not a thing.
Regarding Lori Alexander aka The Transformed Wife's tedious recurring rantings on modesty, which to her means to cover up and not wearing form-fitting clothes...
Lori's daughter doesn't share her mother's opinions in the matter. I think many of Lori's complaints are aimed at...
2 pastors preach the exact same sermon.
1 pastor is a man and the other a woman.
To some only the sermon held my the male pastor would be worth listening to.
That's the religion of Patriarchy, not Christianity.
I wonder, what can be "more harm" than suicide? Or is it that this person's life doesn't match up as good enough against potential side effects?
Please
@godlywomanhood
hear yourself!
Prohibition against abortion and contraceptives hurt and killed many women and led to great poverty for millions of women, men and children.
Prohibition against divorce hurt many women, men and children.
Prohibition against homosexuality hurt and killed many men and women.
What political commitments do you think Christians are supposed to have?
I’ll start.
1) Very strong pro-life/anti-abortion
2) Pro death penalty
3) Freedom of religion/no state control of religion
4) Pro-traditional family and traditional marriage.
I do think that these are
@pastorlocke
Well, honey... it's because there are no thousands of people dying from the vaccine, not even worldwide. No one even gets magnetized or tracked by 5G. Anything else you want to know love?
the daughter who dared to choose her own path in life, to not follow in Lori's footsteps and to reject Lori's rules and commandments. Good for her!
(Said daughter's pic's published by herself on Instagram)
I'm so tired of patriarchy people lying about feminism, egalitarianism and equality. They lie like rugs and they make themselves look like fools.
Imagine saying "feminists wants to be men" and "feminists hates men and children" with a straight face.
It's just too stupid.
I'm tired of this crap.
All I said was that God care about social justice... with bible quotes.
I'm exhausted and sad.
Christianity is seriously messed up.
When the Bible was written women were under their father or husbands authority. If the man was a good guy the woman had a voice and could make decisions for herself. That's a fragile system.
Society has evolved/is evolving towards gender equality. That is good and fair.
@getabass
So she is committed to provide sex on demand and he is committed to have sex whenever he wants even if he hurts her. That's no "each other" it's just abuse and some sort of Stockholm syndrome.
I'm a bit shocked about all the response on this post. Clearly women have a massive need to talk about their experiences. Too many have suffered just because of or too much due to poor information.
Thanks to everyone who have shared and not so much to the mansplainers.
Short leggings🧵
The problem with leggings and bikinis is the people who make it a problem.
If you're teaching your boys and young men they'll explode of lust for looking at a woman in tight outfits or watching their bare skin and you're the root of the problem.

@BonitaKale
My mom lied like a rug to me.😂
She thought it was for the best that I didn't know that she thought she wouldn't make it alive through 3 or her 4 child births. I didn't agree.
My dad is with Jesus now. It was calm and he wasn't in pain. He slipped away.
We prayed, held him, talked with him and eachother and played his favorite songs.
At 1:10am the music suddenly stopped in the middle of a song and he was gone. He took the song with him.❤
I just heard about a church where they had a special prayer included for transgendered people today. That they would be "healed from their affliction" and "turn to God instead of Satan".
What the f*** is wrong with people?
Hopefully no transgendered people were attending.🙏
Birth control existed when the Bible was written. Scripture doesn't say anything about it, nothing to promote it and nothing to criticize it.
What does that tell you?
@ToFertileChurch
Frankly, it's chilling to read these kinds of bad advice. She's telling women it's ok for men to do as they please and that women's place is to shut up and smile.
Higher education isn't just about one persons desire for money and status. It's about learning because it's amazing to know interesting things and to put that knowledge into use. A highly educated society is a treasure and we are useful to each other.

that social justice is a crucial part of God's will. How can you not see?
“He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing.” (Deuteronomy 10:18)

@getabass
Yeah, I get it. I didn't scare my oldest daughter too much I think. I just told her it took 2 days and that I wanted to die😂. No gory details. She had her first kid last year and it was hard. Thank God she took all the pain relief they offered, so maybe I did something good.
@RoCa74394915
@godlywomanhood
Extra biblical nonsense. Also, she has no idea what her daughters did or didn't do and no idea what they do with their husbands. Icky!
@CalebMPowers
Nope, the fifth does not say that. "Honor" usually means "regard with great respect", nothing about making babies.
Be careful my friend, you're adding to scripture. You can argue for your position, but you'll have to do it without scripture. You're on your own pal.
Christian hate-preacher Aaron Thompson says men these days have it rough because "women don't have to obey you... They can just divorce you for whatever reason they want."
“Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute.” (Psalm 82:3)
“Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, and please the widow’s cause.” (Isaiah 1:17)

“He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8)

Dad is still with us. Yesterday he was sleepy, but full of life. Today he was barely living, and mostly asleep. It's been like this for 2 weeks and to be honest, I don't want it to end. He isn't suffering, but I know I have to let him go. I've started crying in advance.
I'll say exactly what I said 4 years ago. Please don't let Trump ruin the world. And that's the problem, whoever is in charge in the US has power far beyond the US borders. Just... don't let him win again. He will destroy everything good (not exaggerating).
“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.” (Proverbs 31:8-9)

This is not a mean question. Why do so many Americans seems to believe God gave them specific "freedoms" and that their country is God's country of choice?
It's not found in any Bible that I know of (America isn't mentioned at all). Not being anti-American at all, just wondering.
“Those who give to the poor will lack nothing, but those who close their eyes to them receive many curses.” (Proverbs 28:27)
“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me” (Matthew 25:40)
I've started to read The Message (NT transl. by E Peterson). Today I googled about it and now I'm confused. Some highly recommend it, others says it's New Age influenced and some even thinks Petersen is a false prophet. Idk much about him.

A question:
Is your husband the leader of you even when it concerns things that you know more about?
An example: I'm a nurse and my husband an engineer. Should he be the one in charge of the family's health decisions?
I'm sure you can see that would be insane.
I'm not asking for prayers very often, but my dad is in surgery right now. They are stabilizing 2 fractures in his back. Dad asked us in the family to pray for him and I thought I might extend the request. ❤
My heart is breaking in slowmotion. My rock through everything is slipping away. It's awful and beautiful. No more trouble and pain. I will cry, but not before the last goodbye.
Again... dear men, please don't tell women how to give birth. Unless you're a health care professional just shut it and let the lady figure it out with your support.
Some Christian fundamentalists doesn't seem to understand that miscarriage is due to medical issues (child or mother) but believe and teach that the woman was in sin.
None of them seem to think that the sin could have been committed by the man. Isn't that weird?
@harmonizedgrace
Nope, no one can be turned from one sexuality to another. However, bisexuality is far more common than most people think. You can ofc choose to explore gay relationships even if you're hetero (and vice versa), but that doesn't change your sexuality.

Feminism is not the exact opposite of patriarchy. Matriarchy is the exact opposite of patriarchy.
Both patriarchy and matriarchy are oppressive and therefor not compatible with feminism's ideal of equality.
It's so easy!!!
A man with pink nails got you upset? Do you prefer other colors?
Nail polish on a man isn't a sign of anything, not these days. It's very common among all sorts of people. You're being very prejudiced and narrow-minded. This is just more extrabiblical nonsense
@godlywomanhood
@mtnhousewife
What if he wants to hurt her?
The emotional damage of doing something she find disgusting because they think that will make their marriage thrive? It's insane.
He's hurting her without even knowing. And how about honesty? Honesty to the husband but also to ourselves...

Fusing a spine doesn't make it fragile. It makes it less fragile. That's usually the point with fusing it.
Also, it shouldn't impact her arms unless there is pressure on nerves from the spine.
Crying happy tears and feeling loved and appreciated.
Son (almost 20y) and I just had one of our talks. He's a deep one and me... yeah! All of a sudden he says "You know you're my no.1 role model, right?"
So, I'm a mess and I feel so good.😭💗😭💗😭💗
A quick resumé of this weekend on Twitter:
Bathsheba is still a hot babe who asked for it.
Women can still not preach.
Women must be lead by men.
Children must be spanked.
The surprise so far is that women shouldn't have kids because we want them, but because we need them.
