In the last Congress the house voted on banning partisan gerrymandering - every D voted in favor, every R against. Democrats should gerrymander the shit out of everything they can until the R's want to hop on board with banning it nationally.

I read the article, and it essentially boils down to the Trump campaign is now competent because campaign staffers say it is and Trump is to distracted by legal efforts to get into the weeds. Seems a weird thing to base the article on.

I'm not aware of any states that let minors get surgery without parental consent. What is weird though is that Republican states feel the need to override the treatment decisions of parents + patients + their doctors because someone is different.

That's actually not true though, if you ask people about their personal situation they generally say that they're doing fine, their community is doing fine, but the nation isn't
