Challenging options should be available but this shouldn't be the default, the raids themselves are a big part of the storytelling and provide some of the best content in the game, gatekeeping helps no-one, it just causes a dwindling player population.

I honestly disagree, the main difficulty of raids comes from mechanics and teamwork with a decent DPS check. The new version means taking 35% more damage. How are people supposed to get into raiding when they're getting one shot by majors?
