There is a pretty big amount of hate comments against me and my team on socials and people wishing us to lose.
All I’ll say is, you can root for whoever you want, but please try to keep it civil and don’t resort to insults, especially against my team.
Since apparently I can only do what I do due to my skill, and the fact that I use MnK, here is a video of my sister killing Legend Calus on phase 2 on Controller. She has never played the game before, her only fps experience is ~10 hours of Minecraft. Took around 30 minutes.

I think Bungie should buff Well of Radiance.
It doesn't do enough damage compared to a Thundercrash and it's very easy to die in a Well, so it's not as good defensively as a Bubble.
Especially in the Legendary campaign, you get melted in it.

The fact that there was a quest pointing to the Raid Day with various in game timers, a sick Cutscene after the Campaign, and the wipe timer being called “The Final Shape” made it fell super involved, truly loved it. Hopefully we get more races of similar caliber in the future.
maybe I'm biased but I don't think there is a narrative/gameplay "event" that compares to this in gaming. Some WoW thing? I dunno. But it feels like it stands alone
Thoughts on the Raid:
Cool environment, pretty cool mechanics (even if final Boss had basically no new mechanics).
Damage checks were way too easy, so it all came down to figuring out mechanics faster. We tried our best, GGs to the winners!

Just realized this room is the one where we first see the Witness in the campaign.
Yeah, I think this Raid is easily the best one we ever got for the environment, it's soooo beautiful!
Not what I wanted to wake up to but definitely something I was worried about. How are you gonna permaban a 4x WF gamer, after MANUAL review, for having an economy mod for a single player game in the background that CANNOT work on D2???
You just can't make this up man. Considering the fact that I described in detail the program and what's its purpose is for (cannot alter any files or inputs related to gaming) this is UNREAL!

Just realized that the final Boss of the Dungeon is 1810 so you will not do max Damage until you hit 1831 (Pinnacle + 21 Artifact). Genuinely shocking how they managed to create an uneven playing field on a Dungeon during a Season where there isn't even a power level increase...
This has to be one of the most useless and tone deaf patch I've ever seen. Imagine worrying about your players clearing 1 specific strike 30 seconds faster.

It was me. I nerfed the Servers and the Seals. The max triumph score was simply not balanced, and the servers being so stable made endgame too easy.

I’m gonna address the Twitter allegations. As CEO of Bungo and Soni yes it was me, I pushed the update out early on PS5. I did so purely out of selfishness, I could not resist the temptation and wait for Thuesday to see the Well nerfs in game. Apologize for the issues causes.
Possibly one of the worst changes to happen to Destiny in years.

Please consider reverting this, allowing players to turn them off, or turning them all on. ANYTHING but a weekly rotation PLEASE
Let's make this clear since I've seen too many: Didn't you ask for more difficulty? Or: didn't you want more HPs?
In a RAID, damage checks ARE part of the DIFFICULTY, since you have LIMITED phases.
In a Dungeon, bosses having too much health just makes it BORING, not prestigious.
The campaign was not up to WQ story wise imo. Felt very rushed and left with way more questions than answers. It also felt too focused on Strand more than on the story itself. On the other end, Tormentors are way cooler than Hive guardians. Probably the best enemy they ever made!
Divinity nerf discussion:

I’ve been thinking about a way to nerf Divinity for quite a bit. The gun is basically mandatory for most Boss encounters and it makes aiming a non factor, which is very unhealthy for the game for multiple reasons, such as:

PSA the New Dungeon is completely farmable even on the SAME character!!! Not only items in your collection, you can actually keep unlocking weapons you haven't even acquired in multiple runs (Exotic included)! Go farm now! GGs

I have yet to use this more but my first impression is that this is one of the strongest weapons Destiny has ever seen. Idk if it's a bug, but it gives you Woven Mail by Severing targets and you don't have to be on Strand. Solar Titan + Navigator = God Mode
We got communication from Bungie that Cruz’s ban is final, and due to their ban evading policies he will not be allowed to make another account to compete in TFS.
He will still receive his Crota belt since they have no reason to believe any violation occurred in the races we won.

Day 1 KF thoughs: honestly surpassed every possible expectation. Every change to every encounter was perfect + new challenges for all of them.

already did a good job reprising VoG, but this was just next level. Servers were also pretty stable which is a plus.

Honestly instead of focusing on pointless convos like the debuff value on Div we should ask ourselves more important questions: to acquire Div you need to complete the puzzles and then finish the Raid, but it’s the Final Boss in Garden at the front or the back of the room???
The comments under this are such a cesspool💀. Who cares about a cheese spot when the rest of the run is 100x times harder than the Boss anyways. I would love to see all those people commenting trying to even get to wave ~30 solo.
Btw the whole situation made me think, where was the "just don't use it" crew when hotswapping got removed? Do you only use this argument if it benefits you?
The amount of comments under this post saying things like: "leave it alone" "it's an heavy glaive it should be strong" "streamers stop ruining the fun"... is the reason why it's so hard to have decent convos about this game on this platform.
Everyone sleeping on the true meta... Allegro-34. Immortal is such an overrated SMG, Allegro has way faster ttk at all ranges and the lightweight buff it gives makes the difference in most engagements.
Something that really left a bad taste today is how after getting WF and celebrating with 10000 viewers my internet “magically” went off for 30 mins and I dropped to ~1000 for the rest of the day. DDOS I guess? Cmon guys, this Community can be better.
I CANNOT BELIEVE their solution for the "wait 90 secs after you kill 10 Headless Ones" was to make them spawn slower so instead of afking 90 secs at the end you now afk longer between each one of them. Actually atrocious Event, bring back Haunted Forest pls.
This change feels awful, really hope the team reconsiders this. It's not just about the new loadout system, even changing a single weapon feels very bad. Hopefully this is just a bandaid fix for Horseman and an actual fix is on the line

TLDR: Overall the Dungeon is very good imo. The environment was cool and varied. The mechanics on the Bosses are pretty fun and don't take too long. The Bosses definitely have a little bit too much health for solo runs, but I'll expand on this on the thread below:
Seasonal reminder that day of the season trailers are not the play. This practice quite literally generate 0 hype imo and it’s a waste of a marketing opportunity + it builds up frustration. Hopefully the approach changes post Lightfall.
I really wanna take a moment to appreciate the use of the underwater section in the first Dungeon Boss, Ecthar. Having to hit the runes while being chased feels scary but exciting. It’s never unfair, and with mastery you can execute the mechanic very quickly, even Solo. Loved it.

Not happy about this tbh. Yes, it was broken in PvP, but it was a fun build in PvE that did not cause issues there. Really wish they went with a nerf that didn’t hurt it in PvE, like reduced regen on PvP only. Requiring kills kinda kills it imo.
I’m so confused by this thread. Ashes was overtuned, especially with Starfire and Sunbracers, but why nerf it with the Strand Grapple and when paired with Hands On??? Grapple needs help if anything, literally last thing I would have considered nerfing. Was it a pvp issue?? Idk.

1. When Ashes to Assets and Hands On are equipped, players will only receive Super energy from one of the mods, not both.
That’s cool and all but I don’t understand why they would decide to put those FOMO Mementos as rewards for Events instead of having them be earnable in endgame activities at all times… seems like such a waste in comparison.
To the gremlins flooding my Youtube/Twitter comments with insults and stupid shit about Div, and even going out of their way to type Div shit under my personal Instagram account... If you think this will stop me from expressing opinions/feedback on this game, you are very wrong.
The API has already been down in 2 occasions this season, you think this is a coincidence? Nah, Bungie is trying to make us more invested into the story by making it have repercussions on the whole Destiny Universe. Clovis is clearly hacking the API, sorry for the spoilers.
Day 1 Crota review:
- Very good step in the right direction.
- Mechanics and challenges were very good, they added enough complexity and required coordination.
- Damage check was fine on Crota and Final stand was sick. Ir Yut needed a bit more health, 2 phase was very easy.
Now that strikes like Lake of Shadows, which used to be quick, take 5 business days, is there any reason to not allow players to just queue whatever GM they want as much as they want? Please bring back the permanent node at least at the end of the season🙏
Not surprising that people are roasting him in the comments, since many in here would defend anything Bungie does like their life was on the line, but he is right. The game has never been this unstable before. We keep having more and more gamebreaking issues.
It feels like every hotfix/update fixes one thing and adds two major bugs in return. the state of the game is getting worse and worse, which is really worrying considering a new expansion is just weeks away
Spot on. I literally couldn’t care less about how many get the emblem, if it where for me they could give people a full week to get it. I would just like a challenging experience and not wait 1 year for the race to end in 2 hours.
Day 1 difficulty discussion in a nutshell. Anyone worth listening to doesn’t care how many people cleared, they care about how difficult it felt to them, but that’s not something quantifiable, so they have to reference the clear rate and then just get flak for that.
If you use the grapple melee on a grapple point, you don’t spend energy, so you now get 50% of the mods’ effect, while bonk hammer also doesn’t spend any energy and it’s 10x more powerful as a build but that one is fine. The inconsistency with balancing is getting out of hand.
3. Reduced Super gains from Ashes to Assets when getting a grapple melee kill after grappling to a grapple point (and thus not expending any grenade energy) by 50%. Previously, this varied from 1% to 5% depending on the target tier, with this change, that's now: 0.5% to 2.5%. 🧵
Not that I’m really surprised about it but when they said that they took the feedback on seasons being repetitive and this one was gonna be “different”, I was expecting a bit more than just moving the upgrade grid from the Helm to the challenges tab and fishing, but oh well…
SOLO FLAWLESS ROOT OF NIGHTMARES!!! This Final Stand was actually perfect. Extremely happy of having this done, took only 4 days of attempts (~16 hours)
I just happened to find on stream a VERY GAMEBREAKING GLITCH, basically ~infinite heavy ammo. Watch the video for context. This needs to be fixed before the next Day 1. I suppose this is a variation of the old infinite orbs glitch.

Spoiler free TFS review:
I had a VERY good time with it! Especially appreciated the variety in the environments, it truly looked wonderful. Missions were all pretty fun and so was the Strike! The Final mission and Cutscene though were PEAK!!! Truly hyped for the Raid!
Something I’ve been saying for a while but imo the 40% buff against minors that Exotic primaries got needs to be extended even to majors and bosses, and EVEN to all legendary primaries. Primaries feel really bad against bosses and majors and that’s something that should change.
Thinking back at the race, the technical issues were tragic, but the Final Boss of VotD was the best encounter I've ever seen. I'm seriously shoked of how good everything was in that fight. Congrats

Wanted to do some damage testing and put out a Day 1 builds video but just realized we cannot try any hybrid rotation on Raids or Dungeon bosses cause we can’t turn off Surges💀
Btw since we are on topic, would be kinda cool to see Deadfall Tether attach to targets like Gathering Storm does, to make running that more valuable over always picking Moebius Quiver, and maybe slightly increase the base duration.
