@SustainableTall Hundreds of millions have been lost in trying to pursue modular / MMC construction in the UK. Ilke, L&G Modular and House by Urban Splash all hitting the wall. Clearly something is going wrong, as it seems house building is refusing to significantly innovate

@pipdunn @MrsSHA123 @LNER @CrossCountryUK It does seem like an odd way of operating. I would favour the cross country way of operating and just show them as “available”. How would ask @LNER how often these “maybe reserved later” signs ever switch to “reserved” during the journey.

@MrsSHA123 @pipdunn @LNER @CrossCountryUK Oh, there is not an option for the sign to read “Available” which means it’s unreserved. How bizarre. Considering the limited stops this service makes and you can’t make a reservation once you’ve boarded, I wondering how often people actually get turfed out of a seat

@plumbers_urban Looks like a Victorian or Edwardian house. Could I please ask if this was a floating / suspended floor above a basement?

@snevinoj @PhilDragon38985 @A_MrBenMitchell @JamesHenry2019 @AutoPap Yep, wasn’t stating was prohibited to park on the footway, but instead the way those vehicles are parked in the original picture (negating the fact their are double yellows) is likely to be causing an obstruction as they are covering nearly the entirety of the footway.

@snevinoj @PhilDragon38985 @A_MrBenMitchell @JamesHenry2019 @AutoPap … “This is because parking on the pavement can obstruct pedestrians and wheelchair users, forcing them to use the road to pass a parked vehicle/s.” Obstruction of the highway goes beyond just the carriageway, as it also includes the footway.

@snevinoj @PhilDragon38985 @A_MrBenMitchell @JamesHenry2019 @AutoPap I think Ben (other one) is correct. You can’t park completely on the pavement blocking the footway, even without the double yellow lines. You are wilfully obstructing the highway. Half on half off pavement parking is allowed (no double yellows) in most cases

@ListerLawrence Genuine question - has it really not been taxed since 2021?

@plumbers_urban @Zarch1972 @glynhudson @Openenergymon Genuine question - would it make any difference accommodating it in some open fronted shelter, akin to a log store?

@willis_macp Lest we forget the role Anderson played in the last away Ashes win down under. It’s not always about tall fast bouncy bowlers. Woakes could fit that dynamic nicely

@ShipleyGreen What about the junction of Saltaire Road and Bingley Road (former roundabout)? The road drainage has never worked since it opened and it’s practically under water whenever it rais, outside the former Rosse pub
