Just had a beer with a mate who bought a new house in Poland 2 years ago. All houses on the development have heat pumps. All run at scops of over 4 with design temps of below -10. No one talks about any A2W problems. They just get it right. Why can’t we?

How far can you install a heat pump from a house? As far as you want - this one is 20 meters away from the plant room (15 away from the house) and still has more than enough flow. Proper design and calculations is the key.

My system is now fine tuned:
- 8 hours run times
- 20c inside
- 28c flow temp with / 5c outside
- heating cop of 5.5
- 460 watts average electrical consumption
Very impressed with the Arotherm so far. (Still want Viessmann)

assured heat pump last week. Kept old single rads in place as UFH going in soon. 70ties build house. It has been running at 0.6 curve, -1 outside, 41c flow and it’s 21c inside. Imagine how well it will perform with UFH!

Cascades are soo good - 16c outside and it still runs steady state as by having only 1 unit running it has much better modulation as compared to a single unit.

! We need more expensive and better quality installations with proper financing. This stuff is and will be expensive to install. Anyone who thinks they can lower the cost of heat pump installations simply doesn’t understand the market or the tech.
