Look this wasn't so bad when everyone could maybe at least find locals to go to safely, but now that there is a fuckin pandemic, if your fighting game doesn't have an acceptable netcode it's as good as unplayable.
The discourse of "I'm NEVER buying a fighting game that doesn't have rollback" has been so weird ever since Guilty Gear Strive came out
It makes sense that you'd want a game to have the best netcode possible. But that doesn't mean games are dogshit if they don't have rollback
