In my OP I shared a tweet where an executive lied about receiving federal funding. I don’t need or want a victory lap. I just think it bears noting that she was right and they lied.

@CringingAsIRead @phredhope Why would a Christian magazine, who says they take no federal funding and solely relies on donors and subscriptions, need to take federal funding? Why lie about it if there was a true need to receive it?

@CringingAsIRead @phredhope My point in sharing had nothing to do with how they used the money, but had everything to do with Megan’s book saying that CT received money with federal govt ties only to be called a slanderer. Her “terrible investigative journalism” actually proved to be true.

@jeremyfair @rdhasler Aren’t most conferences geared towards ministers? Greenville Seminary’s spring conference is specifically on the pastorate. With so many groups focused on ministers, why shouldn’t the GRN offer a conference on the work of the RE? Don’t we want RE’s encouraged and equipped?
