My newest video, summarizing @MichaelHorton_'s excellent response to the concern that a Protestant doctrine of justification leaves us without a basis for Christian ethics.

Much love to @ReformingMen for posting this article. Speak up, men. God has given you a voice for a reason.

A la carte Christianity 2.0. 1.0 was/is consumerist evangelicalism strategically optimized to cater to wealthy suburbanites.
Evangelicals have a parachurch ministry addiction. Instead of pointing young adults to a local church, they can pay $50/month to have adults coach them online—with reading material on an app—with a cohort of peers doing the same thing. I’m sure they have a conference.

@riecker I mean... Jesus in Matt 15:1-9 draws a pretty firm distinction between that which God commanded over against the traditions of men... That's not an entire doctrine of sola scriptura in a verse, but let's not get lazy and pretend the idea has no rooting in Scripture.

@TimelessTopHat @thisisfoster Yes, but I reckon the mother can know for sure which of the children she birthed and raised from infancy.

@sassiterian @BeritOlam @TheCornDog That's fine, but an incredibly ham-handed characterization of the book was offered up as evidence that we should've known ZG is a racist all along. That is a multi-level non sequitur than which none sillier can be conceived.

@sassiterian @BeritOlam @TheCornDog I know he's been critical of the report in general and the "narrow" complementarianism it represents, although I can't quite remember if, where, and how hard he comes after it in the book.
