I buy eggs from a small farm here in East TN. There’s a fridge outside on the porch with the eggs in it and a leather zipper bag full of cash. Probably $300+ at all times. In my CA hometown the entire fridge would have been stolen. Blessed to live in a high trust society out

Paid off my mortgage this week. I hope to never hear the word “mortgage” again but that’s impossible. However, buying a home at 7% interest is doable you just have to accept moving to a different place. 7% is different in Tennessee or Kentucky than the SF Bay Area.
