I was BernieOrBust in 2016 and 2020. This is my third general election, but the first time I'm voting. January 6 was an insurrection. I realized over time both parties are not the same. The SCOTUS ruling granting Trump immunity was a wake-up call. No president is above the law.
@Zoomer_Doomer_
I'm from Texas, and most of my closest friends are non-voters, but they would likely vote blue if the Harris campaign energizes her base here
@LexiAlex
Because your movement is isolating black people and other minority groups with purity testing. Solidarity isn’t achieved that way. We are a vulnerable group fighting for our rights, and we will vote in our interests. And that’s somehow a bad thing?
@mistergeezy
Latinos too. They don’t care Trump promised the largest mass deportation in US history. As if they never heard of the Mexican Repatriation where 400K-1M latinos (including citizens) got deported by force, or they just don’t care. Not even 100 year ago
@BilalRashi25944
@CAMONGHNE
I can give you many technicalities where you are putting comfort above people’s suffering, but it wouldn’t be productive.
The reality is it will either be Kamala or Trump. One is better on the issue of Palestine. I will choose that person.
Kamala’s administration would give
@farahkanaan
And now we’re going to express our solidarity by voting for the candidate that’s less hawkish on Palestine because there is only 2 options realistically
@feraljokes
It’s directed at MAGA, not Republicans. We appeal to them because at least they believe in the Constitution. You’re a communist, which is why you don’t understand coalition building or being politically effective.
@ProjectLincoln
My sister recently turned 18 and registered to vote. Texas gained another blue dot. More to come with the changing demographics. Blexas one day 💙
@ffx_wave
@Zoomer_Doomer_
There’s a lot of dems in Texas (more than republicans), but they aren’t reliable voters. That’s because they think their vote doesn’t count. They don’t know how close Beto was to winning in 2018. 2020 wasn’t too far from blue for a “red” state. Kamal needs inspire Texans dems
This is something we all should be able to get behind, right?
Biden is calling Supreme Court reforms:
- 18 year term limits on Supreme Court justices. A system where a president would appoint a justice every two years.
- A binding ethics code to require justices to disclose
@RestoreSantity
@JimmyLemke
@JStein_WaPo
Biden’s drilling outpaced Trump. Trump also printed so much money he was labeled “king of debt”.
This bill is talking about “price gouging” not free groceries
@DirtRoadPickup
I’m pretty liberal and woke or whatever, but all that shit goes out the window as soon as someone threatens our Constitution. We are Americans first. If the roles were reversed, I’d be voting the other way around. Glad to have you in our coalition and that you chose America first
@deplorable_321
@BraddrofliT
We’re from the same state. And hm maybe you’re not completely wrong, guess that’s why our energy grid has shithole standards
@USA_Polling
I’ve generally noticed that polls with small sample sizes (like this one) tend to show the most extreme percentages because the margin of error is higher.
@samah_fadil
That doesn’t change the fact that you’re against minority groups voting for Kamala. We can support Palestine and prevent Trump getting into office.
