During one of my clinical postings at LUTH, I had to visit the ICU. While attending to a patient in the ICU, one of them regained consciousness and asked how long he's been here, I had told him 3 weeks ( from the info on his folder).

I stopped this in my clinical class. I learned to read using the chain pattern. It's a pattern where you try to relate new information with previous information. It helps you answer the questions, "why, how, when and where" of the concepts being studied.
When I study, I need to write and keep summarizing as it helps me with retention. So I always end up with a summarized summarized version of all my notes.
It is so bad that I can fit an 80 leaves exercise book on 2 pages.
It makes studying tedious.

I got to luth on Monday and looked forward to his smiles and jokes about the match only to find out he died after the match😭. I couldn't continue the ward round with everyone. I went back to the clinic and sat still for long hours heart broken.
