Hospital billing needs to be streamlined to offer more transparency in pricing. There’s no reason why I should receive 4-5 different bills for a single emergency room visit.
I honestly think hospitals just make up bills, randomly send them out, and hope people will pay them. No other business has a billing system as ridiculous, convoluted & confusing as hospitals do.
