@adalva My brother died last month, and we used to always fight over popcorn at Disneyland and movies. The week our family was together, no spouses or children, my dad stopped and got us a large popcorn to share every night. Hero to us.

@JolentaG I’m not high risk; I just don’t want COVID. My most progressive “ableism is a problem” friends aren’t in masks & I don’t know what they think ableism is? We are heading to a conference & I almost don’t want to know which come maskless (goggles & n95 & personal filter for me).

@BathroomReports I’m in healthcare & just cannot understand people who aren’t willing to mask in front of vulnerable ppl. I look at my patients w/ dementia/Parkinson’s/post-stroke effects who look back w/trust in their eyes & wearing a mask/remaining cautious in my life is extremely easy for me.

@DisabledBeing My friend’s 26-year-old sister dropped dead on a work zoom call post omicron. Unknown heart defect and would’ve likely needed a transplant in 20/30 years. My other friend’s BIL also dropped dead a few months post omicron. Unknown as to health status. I’m still in an n95 thank u.
