One reason many disabled people are okay wearing masks is because we've had to deal with much worse. We want people to wear masks so they don't have to go through what many of us have, such as being intubated. Trust us when we tell you, wearing a mask is nothing compared to that.

You have to keep dining indoors for your mental health. Making other people bedbound is a reasonable compromise for socializing, which of course can only be done in indoor dining establishments.
My friends are bedbound in their thirties but you're gonna be fine. You're a special magic person. Jesus loves you more than them.

Been thinking about this a lot about ppl who have given up bc they don’t feel it’s fair to stop going to pubs and clubs etc. do you not understand you are in danger? And I say this as someone who understood I was in danger but got worn down by ppl who ignored me
Realizing that a lot of people honestly do not understand that this pandemic will not automatically end on its own. If we do nothing to stop transmission, this can & will go on for so much longer. There's no rule that says viruses have to evolve to become milder. They often don't
