I don’t get any benefits because my private pension that I paid throughout my working life takes me just over the amount where I’d get benefits. That fuel allowance allowed me to not have to be frightened of putting the heating on. Every death will be down to Labour.

I don’t receive pension credit. I stupidly paid into a private pension at work which takes me slightly over the limit for claiming. The only ‘benefit’ I receive is my bus pass. If I’d been born a few years later I’d get about £2500 a year more. We’ve been royally shafted.
