What drives kids to quit sports? Research suggests the following factors play a role: · It’s no longer fun. · Excessive focus on winning increases pressure · Perceived parental pressure. · Fear of failure instilled by parent or coach · Comparison: “Wasn’t as good as other people my age.” So what should we do instead?
