@DFelsenfeld @AnaSamways I once saw a conservative meme against gov benefits and how people should earn everything so I proposed a 100% inheritance tax, completely in line with that way of thinking, and suddenly people weren't all about it anymore.

@thisisnefertiti Can you even legally have multiple ESAs? I thought it only allowed you the one. I know you can have multiple service dogs if they're trained for different tasks, but ESAs aren't trained so that wouldn't apply.

@dwaldenwrites Also I don't get the impression this person is being blasé about it, just trying to make the best of the situation because I'm sure it still feels kinda scary and not ideal, but is ultimately manageable. At least that's how I felt about my diabetes diagnosis.

@lingerie_addict No, I totally agree. I don't condone the death penalty because plenty of innocent people have suffered as a result and we have an incredibly racist (and every other kind of -ist) and cruel system of policing. But it's not because the death penalty itself makes me squeamish.

@Phil_Lewis_ Given the rates of suicide for trans youth who don't have anyone in their corner, it's very heartwarming to see DW support his daughter against all the people who would do her harm, including her own mother. Good for him, and more importantly good for his child.

@N8Loud @fentanylbrownie @PineapplesX2004 @AnaxoSmithKline I got a 2013 focus like 6 years ago for $7,500. I know Camrys are known to last, but I still think 5k for a car that old kinda shows how expensive cars are. We've taken the "it's the man who owes you loyalty" too far. How does your FRIEND owe you nothing? How did we get to the point where we expect so little? It's not like she didn't know & he was cheating on both of you.
Let me preface this next part with: I did not hold her responsible for him cheating or his abandonment of our baby. He's a grown man who had made a promise. I didn't exchange vows with her, she owed me nothing. .

@RendalSune @mcgee_mauve @lovettejallow But isn't it interesting that this is a tradition that doesn't seem to be shared in any other culture we've heard of? @TraumaSoapBoxes It's a good suggestion. We once checked into a hotel and saw there was a model train convention nearby. Anyway that became our plan for the next day. My husband was thrilled. I didn't see many women until I went to the benches in the back. It was a very bimodal crowd—6 or 60.
