We need to be beyond handing out PPE. If people are in our transit system without a mask, they need a ticket. The city budget needs it too.

As a content creator, I can tel you this simply isn’t true. Facebook and Reddit drives a lot more clicks, which you might know if you had ever actually created something instead of just buying things other people created.

Remember when everyone was talking about how newspapers would save democracy but then newspaper didn’t bother doing any due diligence on the press releases they were fed by publicists?

Compounding the service impacts caused by the Amtrak overhead wires, there is a significant brush fire in the vicinity of County Rd. that is impacting wire repairs.

NYS could help out by making it illegal to fire people for subway delays, and extend those protections to parolees meeting case workers.

There are definitely empty apartments, usually rent regulated, in NYC intentionally left empty, because they are not habitable in the condition they are in and require significant investment with a poor ROI to bring up to code or at least inhabitable.

I was told people put drug needles in there so you would get addicted to drugs and drugs were bad, just say no and don't get pricked by drug needles in pay phones.

Seems like a simple solution is for the legislature to stop funding the court system, since funding the courts would also be a violation of the separation of powers.

It does always amaze me how American developments will preference having a small piece of yard in the front of the house that is never used for anything over a small piece of semi-private rear yard that would almost certainly have some use.

After demonstrating how useless they were at stopping a violent crime, preventing the perpetrator from escaping, or even recording a video of the terror event, the police are trying to prove their value by bullying people.

Yes, that is correct about how tech bros view art and creativity. They are more interested in if they can than if they should.
It’s long past time we take action to end the scourge of gun violence in America.
As president, I’ll ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, implement universal background checks, and enact other common-sense reforms to end our gun violence epidemic.

Fewer people would like pizza if it woke you up in the middle of the night crying for more cheese and cost $26,000 just to have someone watch the dough rise.

Luckily we will soon have congestion pricing to reduce the traffic, and eliminating parking minimums will further reduce the number of cars in the city.

Worth noting that in the United States, you cannot be forced to provide a numerical code to unlock your phone but you can be compelled to provide biometric unlocks -- face, eyes, fingerprint. So best to protect your phones with pin numbers only.

The main thing is that American apartments are designed to punish people because zoning encourages small spaces. More apartments should be built that are 2,000 to 3,000 square feet like those ugly McMansions.

It’s actually a lot harder to breathe when the air quality is so bad — NYC hit an AQI score in the 150s yesterday. It’s because of the cars. The combustion engines create smog. So sure, I’d love to take a breath, Kathy, but thanks to you I’m breathing toxic air.
