IDOT is seeking public comments on the proposed replacement and improvements to Illinois 170 from U.S. 6 to South Street in La Salle County. The project will replace the existing Illinois 170 pavement that was last resurfaced in 2001.

Although forecasts can change in the next 24 hours, the northern half of the state is under a winter weather advisory, freezing rain and wintry conditions are expected tomorrow through Thursday. We’ll be out pretreating roads, but conditions may still be slick. Please plan ahead!

Cook County: Beginning Wed., Feb. 5, closures will be encountered in both directions of 95th Street, between 76th and Oak Park avenues, to remove steel beams from the existing bridge structure. Work is anticipated to be completed by 6 a.m. Friday, Feb. 7.
