Hey Decatur! Upgrades to the railroad crossing signals at N. 22nd Street just north of U.S. 36 will take place this Thursday and Friday. The northbound turn lane from eastbound U.S. 36 will be closed to accommodate the upgrades. Details:

Hey Effingham: Work has stopped for the winter on the Fayette Ave. project. Once the weather allows, work will resume at the intersection of Fayette & Henrietta. IDOT is estimating completing the project in late spring/early summer. For more info:

Interstate 70 near Greenup is closed in both directions due to a multi-vehicle crash. Traffic is being detoured off the interstate. If you must travel, please do so with caution.

Hey Effingham! On Monday Dec. 16, weather pending, IDOT will be repairing the driving lane on eastbound I-57/70 near the U.S. 45 exit. The exit ramp will remain open but will be restricted. Work is expected to be completed by the end of the day. Please use caution.

Due to an accident on I-70 that caused damage to the beams at the E 1250th Rd. overpass, about a mile east of the Casey interchange, that road will be closed until further notice. Traffic on I-70 is not impacted at this time.
