Get initial quotes and then use those to negotiate it down. Email only. They’ll try to get you to come in… don’t.
Once they have a price you like and the configuration you want, THEN you ask them to calculate all the closing costs and list those, too.

Email nearby dealerships as well as ones within a 2-3 hour drive. Ask for the best price and tell them you plan to finance.

If we’re going to compare spec by spec, then you need to compare all specs, not just one spec and the price. :P
It’s like saying a Camry seats 4 for $25,000 and a 350,000 Ferrari only seats 2.

It's amazing how many people don't understand the economics of silicon binning.
Intel, Nvidia, AMD, and Apple, Samsung, and Qualcomm ALLLLLLLLL bin their silicon. They *have* to, because otherwise the chips will be UNREASONABLY expensive to make.

Went all-in on Apple at $62.50 (pre split) back in 2006. I was in middle school at the time, and convinced my parents to let me put all the money I'd saved up (gifts since birth + mowing laws + raking leaves for 3-4 years) into it.
That stock is worth six figures today.

In addition to being an audio snob I’m also a display snob.
This is a 4K 120Hz HDR display with FALD and miniLED backlighting. Apart from the Pro Display XDR it’s the only one to support Dolby Vision.

1. Sleeps faster (better battery life)
2. has more longevity (software updates for 5+ years)

This keyboards are creating the public opinion that MacBooks are a dumpster fire. No one really cares about the actual numbers, at the end of the day, keyboards are an integral and essential part of how laptops work, and 4 years running is a bad look for any hardware flaw.

Context for those who may not know: Rabies is almost 100% fatal once you have symptoms… it’s far better to treat every bite or scratch as “could be rabies let’s be safe” because there’s nothing you can do once symptoms appear, except write a will.

It's a fanless chip in a MacBook Air, that's beating the 2019 16" MacBook Pro with an i9.
It's insanely impressive... and this is apple's "Low end" baseline chip. What they decide to put in high end machines will make most other computers look like a joke.

* double-triple performance cores: 4->8-12 cores
* same efficiency cores: 4
* double-4x GPU cores: 8->16-32 cores
* up to 4x Memory: 16->32->64GB
And probably between a 35-49W total TDP at full power, depending on the chip.

3. Disable Turbo Boost under windows (Power settings > Max CPU power 99 instead of 100). Keep power in balanced mode, and change cooling to active on wall power *and* battery. These settings give you the most thermal headroom preventing the GPU from throttling under load.

It clocks down to 800Mhz. There's a massive reddit thread, and several other users are confirming that this is a problem. In each case, sustained performance (anything over 5 minutes) is better on the i7 vs the i9.

Its *technically* correct but you’re forgetting the rest... OnePlus 7 Pro has 256 GB of **UFS** Storage while the iPhone uses NVME. You’re also forgetting the better contrast ratio (2m:1 vs 100k:1) and 1200nits on the iPhone’s OLED.

If you aren’t delivering value, customers will stop giving you money. Profits cannot be an indefinite money grab without value-add.
Profits w/o an overall strategy, good product, and taking care to foster customer goodwill is short-lived.

Been using a MacBook pro to game... so I can actually answer this one!
1. The Vega 20 is what you should go with. It's roughly similar to a 1050Ti MaxQ which is quite good for an Apple laptop, and should be fine for 1080p gaming.
2. Bootcamp is very usable with Windows 10.

Relax. The A14 is only faster than an A12Z in single core performance. The A12Z has more cores, and a larger GPU. For heavy workloads the iPad Pro's A12Z will be much faster.

It looks like Apple had to drop the clocks to stay within the 50W TDP of a notebook, so these are not going to be as fast as I initially thought.
Should beat a 1660Ti, in most workloads, though :)
