An exhausted (physically & financially) mum #StrugglingWithJuggling life as an #UnpaidCarer loses benefits while helping #NHS to staff look after other people’s family members. Please ask your MP to #StandUpForCarers & push for those who save us money to be rewarded not punished.
Losing your benefits whilst remaining in situ caring for your complex needs relative whilst they are in hospital is appalling treatment Why’s this acceptable? Now we’re out, exhausted from providing an *illegal amount of care, we’ve lost over £500.

@IAmJessPlant Kept dad in his plastic ‘urn’- took him to mum’s funeral (it was lockdown so he helped make up the numbers:) Most of Mum scattered at her preferred location as per her request - but she also comes on adventures & a little bit of her has returned to some of her favourite places…
