Years ago I met a guy who was a free lance video editor. All his equipment was in his van. This was tape editing, mostly for TV. He also did camera work. He was a one man shop. He was apparently good, but was kind of an oddball. He had an apartment, but his van was his real home

Likely. It happened in Chicago last year. Organized robberies during riots. On 8/10/20, social media was used to coordinate mass looting, but it was clear that more organized groups hit the high end stores.

Absolutely, and I think there may be some other environmental factors. When I visit the rural area where I used to grow up it is shocking how much bigger people have gotten especially kids. It used to be unusual for kids to have a different morphology than their parents.
