It's not perfect but the official release of TrackMotion is here.
Would love your feedback over the next few weeks. I'm a full time teacher but I'll work on bugs & new features as much as I can! Already 100+ Hours into the project, a few more can't hurt.
Been working on TrackMotion iOS for ~4 months trying to get it perfect, but perfection is impossible!
Going to take the plunge & release it this week. Still plenty of features to be added.
For now it should be a great block start assistant! Excited to see what you think!

Strongly encourage anyone who frequently does wickets to apply electrical tape to their tape measure for their commonly used spacings. Super happy with mine!
For those that ask about the wicket (saucer cone) system I learned from
@ByrdSportsPF
and how I set it up with 20-50 kids at a time. I set up fly 10 lanes on the track with 5-6 cones in each lane starting before, and ending just after, the zone.

Got a few DMs asking, so here's my starting wicket spacings based on 100m current fitness.
They aren't perfect but get us most of the way there & we make adjustments based on how the athletes look.
With a big team we normally group by ~3 inches or ~.5 sec.

Wanted to give the guys a chance to feel the turns of an "indoor track". Here is our turf setup.
Basically just 2 semi circles ~50 yards apart.
You go to the center of your circle and use a tape measurer to get a radius of 17.2m, then just drop cones around the circle!
What do you do when you have a meet on a 200m flat, but not a similar facility to practice those curves on? Get creative and measure out as much distance as you can of the indoor radius on your outdoor track.

Much of Sprinting is working on Force Application, but it's important for athletes to be able to experiment with it outside of running.
Extended the cones out a little today. Cueing toes up on this drill and we can see varying levels of success as we the increased difficulty.

Last night we lost our undefeated streak, finishing second to an excellent CB West team, but I'm so proud of how we competed. We qualified for states, nationals, and Penn Relays. The boys took away some good lessons and it's only going to make us better moving forward!
