I’m not Jewish but studied Israel. I started off pretty neutral and optimistic about peace but slowly had my hopes crushed by Palestinian intransigence. Ended up siding with Israel. A lot of non Jews end up supporting Israel because the only choice offered by Palestinians is war.

When Hamas took control of Gaza in 2007 the first thing they did was to execute members of the Palestinian Authority. They videoed the executions (often involved being thrown off a bridge or rooftop) and then distributed the videos to the people. From the get go Hamas was evil
